Who is Renegade Retreats Yoga Teacher Training Designed For?
Whether you’re looking to deepen your personal practice or are an aspiring yoga teacher, this program is designed for you!
You may not even want to teach yoga, and THAT’S OKAY! Yoga teacher training is a place to learn about yourself, to learn the tools to bring balance into your daily life. And as you implement those tools throughout your training you will notice a shift in perspective, in thoughts, in breath, in focus. And MAYBE at the end of it all, you will want to share this gift with your loved ones (but it’s not a requirement).
This program is not only for people who want to teach yoga but for anyone looking to dive deeper into self-discovery and self-care.
What will I learn with Renegade Retreats Yoga Teacher Training?
Our life-changing program is an invaluable experience for anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of yoga. Over the course of 9 weekends, you will explore 3 different styles of yoga with Ally and Posey. Each of these styles offers its own unique benefits and challenges, and you will gain a well-rounded understanding of all three by the end of the training. In addition to learning how to teach each style effectively, you will also participate in personal development workshops that will help you become a leader both on and off the mat.
This comprehensive program is unlike most teacher trainings, which usually focus on only one style of yoga. Anyone who is serious about taking their practice to the next level will benefit from this course.
Plus, you’ll embark on your own transformational journey.
This course sets you up with the tools and techniques, based on ancient yogic practices, to help you keep moving forward through life, regardless of the circumstances.
In our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training, you will dive into advancing your practice, building confidence, and discovering your voice. You will:
Upon completion of our course, participants who demonstrate our skill competency and complete 200 hours of classwork, will receive a certification for completion of the curriculum. This will enable you to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher.

Why Choose Renegade Retreats for your YTT?
To put it simply, we’ve been there. Ally is a women who knows what it’s like to have your life turned upside down. They’ve walked the path of uncertainty and had to rebuild the foundation of their lives out of the rubble. They’ve both faced challenges and rebuilt their lives from the ground up. And they’re here to help you do the same.
Through their programs, they’ll teach you how to keep moving forward through uncertainty and create a foundation for your life that is strong and stable. You’ll learn how to live with intention and apply yoga wisdom to your everyday life. With their guidance, you’ll be able to persevere through anything life throws your way.
We will always show up and be raw & authentic with you. We’re the real deal.
We opened the doors of Renegade Retreats in January of 2020 to a packed open house. Almost immediately our new business was shut down due to Covid, followed by divorce, death, and navigating these new lives — when life tried to knock us down, we anchored ourselves deeper into our practices and came through softer, stronger, more compassionate, and understanding.
Through yoga, we found ways to transform pain into purpose. Yoga has taught us how to thrive, not just survive. This is what we want for you!
We’re not just another yoga studio or YTT — we are family — you’ve been there for us and we’re here for you. And we’re not afraid of the dark. We have faced the darkest dark and found our way back to the light. From divorce to traumatic grief, to depression and addiction, we’ve been there.
We have both been practicing for over 16 years. We come from the direct lineage of Ashtanga teachers and Bikram teachers. Perhaps that’s why we feel so passionate about teaching, and teaching others how to teach with compassion and support. Ally has spent hundreds of hours dissecting, analyzing, and learning yoga philosophy. We fully submersed in it.
