You will begin your journey in the enchanting Jungles of Belize! Situated high in a treehouse resort invite enrichment & abundance into your life – practice yoga & meditation daily under the Rainforest Canopy. Spend 4 days/3 Nights in a true nature lover’s paradise, perfectly located for access to the best of Belizean culture and adventure. Ride horses to ancient Maya sites, sunbathe on the beach, canoe on the river, see the Maya underworld with a
Cave tubing excursion, or see the jungle canopy from above on a zip line tour. Then again, you can stay right here at the lodge and spend your time exploring the Belize Botanic Garden,

From the jungle travel to the beach where you will welcome your morning in your own private island paradise, situated on the white sands of Belize! Cultivate your days practicing, exploring, and bathing yourself amongst the turquoise Belizean waters with Emily and Ally. Adventure or relax as much as your heart desires on this All Inclusive Private Island Retreat. Each day will consist of two yoga classes or workshops, three farm to table meals a day, local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and plenty of time to soak in the sun and sea. Your package adventure and excursions include a group snorkel to the Belize Barrier Reef (the second largest barrier reef in the world), SUP yoga class, and access to bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear. Your itinerary is built for enjoyment whether you are lounging in your overwater bungalow hammock resting, snorkeling among the reef, taking in the sun, sand and libations or visiting Belize. Accommodations on the island are in beautiful thatch roof cabanas either over the water or ocean front. Rooms are available with two twin beds or 1 king bed accommodating single or double occupancy. All rooms have ceiling fans, air conditioning, filtered water, hammocks and private bathrooms.

Thatch Caye Resort sits on its own private island off the coast of Dangriga, Belize. Only 30 guests at a time can stay at this picture-perfect destination, guaranteeing a unique experience. Not only has she personally benefited from incorporating yoga and intention based practices into daily life – Over their decade of teaching she has witnessed first hand the power yoga has to transform and heal the whole person, regardless of circumstances or conditions.
She is beyond ecstatic to continue to offer these tools and techniques to you, on a deeper level, so you can integrate them into your life and share them with your community. From group classes, adventure retreat, and teacher trainings Ally delivers a raw & authentic journey!
● Over the past 6 years, Ally has sold out countless international and domestic retreats. I have guided hundreds of people to exotic destinations and inner depths never imaginable. I've created spaces for people to shed the limiting beliefs, drop the baggage, and completely surrender to all the healing and blessings the universe is waiting to shower them with. My retreats always offer people once in a lifetime opportunities to adventure, explore, and connect with other like minded spirits. Ally Hughes
Ally Hughes (E-RYT 800) is the Director of Education and International Retreats.
Ally has dedicated more than 18 years into the practice of yoga and has been leading domestic and international yoga retreats, teacher trainings, workshops, and classes for over 10 years.
Her yoga journey began in Hawaii in 2005 where she studied Mysore Ashtanga Yoga, under Norman Allen. In 2009 she began to expand her studies into other styles of yoga and Vedic philosophy, deepening her understanding of anatomy, bio-mechanics, physiology, and the relation of somatic movement in healing trauma.

Ally has integrated this experience and wisdom into her teaching style offering transformational yoga retreats and teacher trainings. She has taught over 5000 hours in Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Rocket Ashtanga, Yin, and Trauma Informed yoga teacher trainings, workshops, classes and holds accreditation as a 200-hour Teacher Training School through Yoga Alliance. Over the years she has lead 8 yoga teacher trainings and hosted 6 yoga & adventure retreats. Ally’s teaching style beautifully blends the hard and soft aspects of yoga. Her classes are accessible to all level practitioners, while challenging one to dive deeper finding strength, courage and the ability to have fun.
Her classes are often described as adult play time, but Don’t let her easy going and adventurous side fool you. She has the power to take you on a serious meditative journey. Come prepared to challenge, but not judge, yourself to levels you never knew you could reach!

Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge is a true nature lover’s paradise, perfectly located for access to the best of Belizean culture and adventure. At Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge, we know how important your dining experience is. That’s why we offer fresh, local meals daily and hire the best local chefs to prepare them. The lodge is fairly secluded and while you’re able to go out for your meals, we recommend that all guests purchase The Package. . It includes daily breakfast, lunch, a three course dinner, as well as local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you’re going on a tour, your lunch will be packed and brought with you!

TREEHOUSE BAR
The Treehouse Bar is the center of socializing at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge. It’s a lounge, bar, and restaurant suspended above the treetop canopy. The Treehouse Bar offers beautiful views of the surrounding forest, affording up close interaction with local wildlife. Step out to the Bird Deck each morning to see birds gathering here, eating their favorite fruit. The Treehouse Bar offers WiFi, full cocktail, breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner menus. Don’t forget to try the lodge’s specialty drink, the Bird of Paradise! It’s easy to see why this open air bar is among the favorite areas of the lodge.

Thatch Caye, a natural island complex that forms a 12 acre marine park in the Cocoplum chain it is just 9 miles from Dangriga in south-central Belize and only two miles from the second largest reef in the western world. Thatch Caye Resort is inside the northern boundary of the protected South Water Marine Reserve (Most maps show Cocoplum Caye).
All Thatch Caye Resort guests enjoy the exclusive use of our kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, and other non-motorized island toys at no extra charge. Explore the surrounding waters, relax in a hammock or bask in the sun. Our activities staff are happy to get into the water with you to help you get started or to provide tips on your technique. DISCOVER WHAT LIVES UNDERWATER
Only minutes away from the Barrier Reef and boasting its own beautiful fringing reefs, Thatch Caye Resort has the advantage of being able to offer diving enthusiasts reef experiences with only short boat rides to some of the world’s best diving sites.
The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System lies off the eastern coast of Belize and is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest in the world. Thatch Caye Resort is located right on the Belize barrier reef.
CANOES & TUBES
Sweet Songs Lodge has its own “lazy river” right on property! Stop by the front desk for a life vest, directions to the Tube Palapa and to sign in for a canoe or tube. Grab an inner tube and take a short walk down to the Macal River. Start your journey floating down the river and end at Sweet Songs’ beach. Enjoy views of towering cliffs, large rock formations along the water’s edge, massive stands of bamboo, cormorants, kingfishers, and turtles along your 15-30 minute float to Sweet Songs’ beach.

BICYCLES
Guests are invited to use the complimentary bicycles to explore the surrounding grounds. Please ask the team for directions and safety equipment.
BELIZE BOTANIC GARDEN
While you are here, don’t miss the opportunity to visit the gardens, which consists of 45 acres of native and exotic plants. There isn’t a lovelier place to stroll in the early evening or early morning hours. Winding paths through this conservation project will introduce you to some of Belize’s varied habitats and to the plants that are native to these areas. Entrance fee required.

THATCH CAYE
Enjoy three farm to table meals per day, snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. We hire the best local chefs to ensure we have a wide variety of Belizean and international dishes. We cater to any dietary needs, just let us know when you book your trip what you require.Your typical daily dining consists of one of a fresh cooked, made to order breakfast, a traditional Belizean lunch, afternoon snack and an authentic three course dinner. All meals are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients from Muy’Ono Farm.



• Breakfast is served in the Coco Lounge from 7:00 – 8:30 a.m. and includes coffee or tea, fresh juice, fresh tropical fruits as well as items such as eggs, bacon, sausage, fried jacks, toast, and johnny cakes. Self-serve coffee will be available at 6:30 a.m.
• Lunch is served at The Grove from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. and is typically a light dish such as fish hoagies, wraps and watermelon soup, or a local rice and bean dish. Packed lunches are provided for guests on tours.
• Happy Hour and a light Afternoon Snack is served at the Starfish Bar between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Ceviche, Nachos, Hummus are all popular choices
• Dinner is served at 7:00 p.m. All meals are authentic and made with local ingredients and adhere to any guest dietary requirements. Dinners typically include a seafood/meat option with vegetarian options upon request. Dinner is served in The Grove, at picnic tables under the sun or the stars, weather permitting.

BELIZE BARRIER REEF SNORKEL EXCURSION
Enjoy a 1/2 day group snorkel trip to the Belize Barrier Reef (a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest barrier reef in the northern hemisphere).
The second largest barrier reef system in the world, the Belize Barrier Reef, is a sight to behold. Snorkel among delicate sea fans, colorful tropical fish, and impressive corals.

CARACOL – FULL DAY MAYAN RUINS
Caracol is the largest known Maya center in Belize covering about 75 square miles. It’s a remarkable city complex deep in the rainforest of Belize. It is Central America’s own version of the Roman Empire. After an hour and a half driving along dirt roads though the vast nature reserve of the pine forest, you come upon a modern paved highway leading to Caracol. “Caana” meaning Sky Palace, the main pyramid of the site features 4 palaces and 3 temples. At 141 feet it is considered the tallest building of Belize to this day. Archaeologist deciphered that the ruling family of Caracol defeated Tikal and Narango cities and there is evidence of the architectural mimicry this conquest left at Tikal. Finish the excursion by choose to add on a swim and picnic at the Rio On Pools or Big Rock Waterfalls.
